Any cultural event these days is one that I would not normally go to thanks to the economy. We just gave up going to plays, musicals, concerts, etc. when we had to cut back on our spending. I was hoping to make it to a monster truck pull for this goal, but I guess it will have to wait until next year. Curtis and I could not justify paying that money which could go to groceries. You know, things always have a way of working out. A coworker came to me and asked if I wanted to take Cora to the Renaissance Festival for free! They had an extra ticket and asked if I would go. I was pumped. Cora had a pretty good time. She got stung by a bee and I spilled frozen lemonade all over her. BUT other than that she said she had LOTS of fun. Here we are riding a giant rocking horse...definitely not something I would normally do. And anyone who thinks the Renaissance Festival isn't cultural hasn't really experienced it. There are kings, queens, walking trees, jousts, and peasants juggling fire.

#11. Go to a cultural event (one you normally don't...)
